Paragraph 1
Public Holidays Act (2007 Revision) In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the Public Holidays Act (2007 Revision), the Cabinet makes the following Order — Citation This Order may be cited as the Public Holidays (No.2) Order, 2021. Amendment of the Schedule to the Public Holidays Act (2007 Revision) - list of Public General Holidays The Public Holidays Act (2007 Revision) is amended in the Schedule as follows — (a) by repealing paragraph 6 for the purposes of the year 2022 and by reinserting the same in the year 2023; (b) by inserting as paragraph 6, which shall apply only in the year 2022, the following paragraph — “6. 6th June, 2022 as the official birthday of the reigning sovereign.”; and by inserting after paragraph 12 the following paragraph —
Paragraph 2
“13. In the year 2022 only, for the purposes of the celebration of the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, 3rd June shall be a Public General Holiday.”. Made in Cabinet the 23rd day of November, 2021. Kim Bullings Clerk of the Cabinet
