Regulation 1

Legal Services Act, 2020 LEGAL SERVICES (IMMUNITY) REGULATIONS, In exercise of the powers conferred by section 99 of the Legal Services Act, 2020, the Cabinet makes the following Regulations — Citation and commencement (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Legal Services (Immunity) Regulations, (2) These Regulations come into force on 1st January, 2026. Protection from liability A person to whom the Council has delegated its functions under section 5(3) of the Act and the person’s officers, managers, employees and agents shall not be liable for claims in damages, costs, charges or expenses resulting from the discharge or purported discharge of the functions.

Regulation 2

(2) Paragraph (1) does not apply to claims, damages, costs, charges or expenses caused by bad faith or wilful misconduct of the person or the officer, manager, employee or agent. Made in Cabinet the 13th day of November, 2025. Kim Bullings Clerk of the Cabinet
